IDS-CLAS Compact S1
For laboratories limited by space but facing higher throughput demands, the IDS-CLAS Compact S1 provides what is needed for a medium-volume laboratories that manages up to 600 tubes per hour.
A key feature of the Compact S1 is its double-decker conveyor system, enabling samples requiring re-runs to be processed automatically. Through an integrated elevator, samples move to the lower tier for re-routing and return to the upper tier for re-testing—all without increasing the system’s footprint.
This advanced re-run capability ensures the smooth handling of inconclusive results, quality control issues, or confirmatory testing while minimizing manual intervention, boosting lab efficiency, and maintaining consistent workflow.

Bulk Loader
For Faster & Smarter Sample Loading
Designed to handle high volumes of incoming samples, the bulk loader accommodates samples to be loaded or poured through the opening as needed. The sample barcode is scanned to determine routing and confirm receipt in the laboratory LIS.

Inlet Module
For Rack-based Sample Loading & Routing
The Inlet is responsible for receiving and loading samples onto the track system while linking incoming sample information through barcode scanning.
Introduce STAT samples as needed without interrupting inlet operation.

- For more Walk-away time: Consider the 8-rack inlet with loading capacity of 400.
Centrifuge Module
Fast load and unload up to 40 samples per spin cycle with an auto-balancing feature to manage short turnaround time and removes centrifugation batching delays.
- The track supports redundant modules to manage increased sample volume.
- Available in ambient or refrigerated models
Decapper Module
Caps of sample tubes are removed by a rotational mechanism, which gets directly discarded into the internal bio-hazard container.

Analyzer Connections
IDS-CLAS Compact S1 support analyzer connections on both sides of the track system, significantly reducing sample travel time to the analyzers.
Rack or Tube-builder Connections
IDS can develop appropriate automated transfer arms designed to unload samples from sample tube carriers and place them into your laboratory analyzer racks.
Point-in-Space (Direct Track Sampling) Connections
For analyzers that are capable of direct-track sampling from primary tubes or aliquots while they remain on IDS sample transportation track.
IDS is able to manufacture direct track sampling connections that fits and facilitates efficient sample transfer depending on your laboratory analyzers type/make.
Recapper Module
Placing plastic caps on primary and secondary tubes before routing them to the Storage Module. Ensures secure sealing, preventing contamination and preserving sample integrity during storage or move around the lab.
Minimizing operator exposure for improved safety.
Outlet Module
Removes samples from Automation Line and loads them into outlet rack for further sorting or archiving.
The rack sorting configuration can be categorized to allow laboratories organize samples based on specific their needs. Automated sample retrieval from outlet for additional testing or re-runs.

High-capacity sample storage for up to 3,060 sample tubes. Automated sample retrieval for additional testing or re-runs. Streamlining sample traceability and minimizing manual handling.

Bulk Loader

Inlet
Receives and transfers samples onto the transport system.
- Samples are picked up from IDS 50-tube racks and placed into individual sample carriers on the transport line.
- Introduce STAT samples as needed without interrupting inlet operation.
- Loading capacity: 200 samples (4 x IDS 50-tube racks)

Centrifuge
Supports up to 40 tubes per cycle with an auto-balancing feature for instances when there are odd number of samples.
Available in ambient or refrigerated models

Decapper
Tube caps are rotated off and discarded into bio-hazard container within the module, minimizing aerosol exposure and ensuring lab biosafety.
Removes the following tube closures including :
- Rubber
- Plastic
- Screw

- De-caps primary tube.
- Prepares up to 4 different secondary tube types at same time.
- Prints bar-code label for secondary tubes.
- Aliquots primary samples to up to 15 secondary aliquot tubes.
- Alerts operators right away if samples are short of blood volume upon receipt.
- Samples sorted out into personality racks.


Analyzer Connections
We are able to manufacture analyzer connections that fits and facilitates your laboratory analyzers type/make.

Recapper
- Caps can be filled into supply bin with continuous operation.
- Walkaway capacity: 500 caps

Outlet
4-Rack outlet with a walkaway time of 200 samples (4 x IDS 50-tube racks).
Completed samples or samples that require technician’s attention gets unloaded from tube carriers and placed into outlet racks.
Outlet rack sorting configuration can be customized. Allowing laboratories to organize samples based on their operational needs.
